For US deliveries, all parcels are sent by USPS and the fee will depend on the weight of the parcel as well as the distance it will travel.
Your items will be sent within 3-5 working days of receipt of your order and you will receive confirmation via the email provided at checkout.
Standard priority shipping insurance is included in any domestic shipment.
Returns & Refunds - (Domestic shipments only)
In the unlikely event that your pottery arrives damaged, please email me attaching photographs of the broken item and the packaging it arrived in. I will replace (if possible) the item or issue a refund as soon as possible. I may ask you to return the item in order for you to receive a full refund of your order.
In-stock orders can be cancelled and refunded if the order has not been shipped.
If, for any reason your purchase isn’t quite what you’d hoped, you have 14 days from receipt of your order to return your item for a full refund minus shipping costs, providing your order is in perfect condition. If you'd like to return an item you must first notify me by email. I will then respond with the return address. Returns must be sent back in the same packaging or comparable packaging. Items should be packaged carefully to avoid breakage as a refund for items broken while being returned can not be fulfilled . Please be advised that the cost for return shipping is your responsibility. I advise you to insure your package and send it by a Tracked and Recorded Delivery service so that you are able to claim for the package should the worst happen and it goes missing or breaks. I will make sure to notify you as soon as the package arrives back with me and I will issue a full refund for the cost of the item shortly after. I can unfortunately not refund any of the shipping costs.
*If your item arrives back to me in an unsellable condition (broken or chipped) or go missing in transit I will be unable to issue a refund.
**All sales of ‘Seconds’ items (which will be clearly stated as such in the title and product descriptions) are final and the above refund policy does not apply.
***It is the customer's responsibility to provide a secure shipping location (e.g., a location with a video camera at the front door). I can not refund items that have been delivered by the carrier. You will be responsible for filing a claim with the carrier.
****Returns/Refunds may be denied if the defect in the item does not affect functionality and was clearly visible on the photographs. Please note that these are handmade products and may have imperfections that do not qualify for refunds.
Pottery care
Your pottery is safe to be put in the dishwasher, though I recommend hand washing as it is much kinder to the glaze surface and less likely to get chipped by other pieces in the dishwasher moving around. For dishwashing, I recommends a gentle, detergent to maximize extending the life of your dishes and finish of the glaze.
Your pottery has been fired to vitrification and should therefore be suitable for microwave use. However, I advise that you exercise caution. Your pottery can be used in the oven although, I recommend not exposing your pottery to rapid temperature changes, causing temperature shock to your pottery. A good rule of thumb is to heat things slowly, evenly, and carefully. This means heating the ceramic product up with the oven, never put it on broil or directly onto a hot surface.
*Jeanette Le Roux Ceramics is not responsible for any breakages that might happen during usage. In the case of owning a piece that involves using a candle, please be aware that the pottery must be placed on a non-flammable surface and never left unattended. The pottery can get hot to the touch and care should be taken not to touch it during this time.
